Let’s Talk Fashion: 2016 Academy Awards

If you don’t watch the Academy Awards Red Carpet, you’re lying.

Last night was the 2016 Oscars and besides Leonardo DiCaprio winning Best Actor for “The Revenant,” the best part of the show was the fashion.

These ladies definitely win the GWT award for Best Dressed:

Cate Blanchett

TBH, this is our favorite look of the night. Cate always looks like an angel, but this Armani Privé dress just does wonders for her figure and skin tone. The flower detail is something we normally wouldn’t be into, but she just makes it look like the Barbie doll dress we always wanted. Cate paired it with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and a Roger Vivier clutch.

Charlize Theron

Charlize looks fantastic in whatever she wears, but red is definitely her color. Between the plunging neckline and stunning necklace, we’re in awe. The Mad Max: Fury Road star sported a Dior Haute Couture dress and $3.7 million worth of Harry Winston diamonds. So casual.

Rooney Mara

Just like her “Carol” co-star, we always love what Rooney Mara’s putting down. She likes to take risks, look bold, and so elegantly-tough and this look is no exception. Wearing a Givenchy dress, highly-coveted Stuart Weitzman heels, and Fred Leighton jewels, Rooney is a true vision.

We’ve liked Saoirse as an actress for a while, but now she’s on our fashion radar. With all that beading, there’s no doubt this custom Calvin Klein Collection dress was a heavy one, but you can’t deny that it fits her like a glove. I mean, have you seen the back!? Paired with some Chopard jewels, Saoirse looks like a sexy, slinky mermaid and we’re into it.
